Vitamin D and hot water?
OK, the vitamin D is part is just a reference to sunshine. We’ve adding solar heating to our water system!
We started in the summer with a couple of solar water heating panels on the office roof to warm up the water a bit before it goes into our laundry’s hot water tanks. Then we added a third one- have a look up when you come to the park next. Even when the laundry is running full tilt boogie in the summer months, we’ve noticed a sizeable difference in the heating bill, which is helps keep the laundry rates lower and leaves more energy for the rest of the planet. As time goes on we plan to add solar panels to the shower buildings too.
